This Is Me
Ok.... I clearly understand that setting up my own dating
landing page isn't the norm. However, I'm tired of wasting my time with the dating apps. I would be embarrassed to admit how much time and effort that I've put into all the fake profiles, and all the stupid games that are played by people in the on-line dating world.
So I'm taking back my time and dignity and rolling with a new plan.
I'd like to use this introduction as a way to save each of us the hassle of being days or weeks into the process of getting to know each other, just to find out that one of us has crossed over into the dreaded "Deal Breaker" Zone.

I don't care who calls first, but I just know that if you're not brave enough to talk on the phone, then you're not going to be the one that I'm looking for.
The following is a compilation of my random thoughts, I hope you will relate with them.
I'm definitely a hopeless romantic.... Which means I'll search till the end of time if necessary to find my girl. I'm not giving up like so many of my single friends, I'm just setting up a landing page filter so hopefully only serious people who find me attractive or interesting will reach out to me.
Finding a quality woman (later in life) to perhaps become my wife gets more and more unlikely as time passes, but I refuse to believe that there aren't others out there just like me, who haven't given up all hope yet. Although I live a very happy life, it's just not a complete life without the right person by my side.
Here are the 5 reasons why some woman stop looking.
1. Painful past relationships, and now they've given up.
2. Kids / grandkids are now the center of their lives.
3. Friends & activities are now the center of their lives.
4. Financially independent.... Don't need a man.
5. Sex drive is no longer..... a drive.
I'm a 65 year old man with a lot of drive and energy.
I'm very health conscious and continue to stay in shape;
6 feet tall, weighing in at a fighting weight of 175 pounds.
I'm a dedicated person that continually looks to improve
myself and make positive contributions to the world around
me. So I'm definitely looking for someone that will share my energy, positivity and adventurous spirit!
About 2 years ago I stopped dying my hair and just let it grow out.
I'm not trying to be radical, just being me. I have 4 tattoo's that I designed myself with purpose and meaning..... nothing controversial or inappropriate.

About Me
I know that everyone is unique, but if there's such a thing as extra unique on steroids..... that would be me. I'm certainly not tying to say that I'm better than anyone else, just very different.
I started traveling the world on my own at age 15, when I went into the Panamanian Jungles for a summer. By the age of 18, I had trekked to over 20 counties by myself. So, I'm the guy who has endless stories, but what I really like to do is just talk about life issues. I'm always looking to learn and I've always been curious about almost everything.
I have a wicked sense of humor, so get ready to laugh till you cry, blow milk from your nose and pee your pants!

My hobby's and interests seem to be endless.
As a Renaissance Man, always looking to lean new things.
Things I like.... If it involves an adrenaline rush, I'm sure I will want to do it. Then there's things like Reading, Playing Chess, Watching Movies, Boating, Beaching, Hot Tubbing, Concerts, Traveling, Biking, Motorcycling, Hiking, Fishing, Hunting, Camping, RV's, Festivals, Family, Pickleball, Golfing, Watching Sports, Working Out, Sleeping, Chilling, Morning Coffee, Eating Healthy, Watching you dance....LOL.
Basically, I like almost anything, if I have my love next to me.
I'll have a beer, cocktail or glass of wine now and then, but I can also go without. Never been into drugs or porn, but I've see more than my fair share of crazy-ass stuff in my life.
I'm a published book Author and former syndicated newspaper financial author. I've been a Keynote Conference Speaker and featured on many radio and television stations.
I believe in attraction and chemistry, if it's there you can't deny it, but if it's not there, it's nobody's fault..... It's just life.
I don't believe in forcing a relationship or "working on" a relationship. It should just flow and feel loving and comfortable.
Deep Connections
Faith, Politics and Money are very big topics that I don't want to address here because time, thought and understanding is needed to fully understand where I'm at with these topics.
But here are some thoughts..........
I have my faith, yet I have a lifetime of unanswered questions.
One of my collage majors was World Religions, so this has been and will continue to be a lifelong journey for me.
Politics couldn't possible be more annoying.
My parents voted with different parties and they had a wonderful marriage. I lean towards a Libertarian / Conservative point of view, but I also was very happy in a 2 year relationship where my girlfriend was moderately liberal. I believe in open, thoughtful discussions and then agree to disagree if needed.
Money..... I've had times of abundance and also times of scarcity.
I've made millions and I've lost millions in my life.
I view money as a bonding element in a marriage, not a divider.
I believe that you are either all-in with your marriage or you will have a compromised.... likely to fail marriage.
I like this quote, by Dave Ramsey, "If your money is shared you can succeed, if it's not, you will struggle." Obviously it's easier to do this when you are young and more difficult when you are older, but generally speaking, I believe in the sharing of everything between a husband and wife.
What I Seek
I don't know why, but all to often people find it so hard to say exactly what they want. If you don't know who you are and/or what you want in life.... then I'm not your guy.
I WANT SOMEONE WHO .....
Isn't into Drama.
Builds people up, not tears them down.
Will joke and laugh a lot about each of us.
Is an optimist.
Doesn't bitch and complain all the time.
Loves animals.
Enjoys the active outdoors life.
Likes sports and is fit and active.
